  • Torque = 180 ft Lbs. - OE Bosch SR15N Starters are now produced with a self supporting armature and no longer require the bushing in the transmission housing. Depending on warehouse inventory you may receive either the original OE design or the new updated design with the self supporting armature. The two types of units are different in physical appearance, but are totally interchangeable in both fitment and performance. The Images represent the later updated design.

      Starter works awesome.

      Recently installed this Bosch starter motor in my 1986 VW Vanagon. After 4 starts the rebuilt starter stopped working. I returned it and was sent a replacement. This one works excellent.
