It provides a weight carrying capacity of 10,000 lbs. GTW and 1,000 lbs. TW. It can also accept a weight distributing hitch, offering a maximum WD capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a WDTW of 1,200 lbs. The CURT OEM puck system 5th wheel adapter for Chevy, Ford and GMC pickups combines the functionality of CURT 5th wheel puck system products with the strength and convenience of the truck bed puck system. The adapter provides a set of industry-standard 5th wheel rails to securely mount a CURT 5th wheel hitch or roller into the bed of your truck. It is designed to fit select model years of the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD and Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty (see application info to verify fitment). It features a set of adjustable, quarter-turn anchors to quickly and easily drop into the pucks and provide a moveable platform for the 5th wheel coupling point. This puck system adapter requires a specific puck system for installation (year range specific). It features a capacity of 25,000 lbs. and is compatible with all CURT 5th wheel legs and rollers (weight capacities are limited to the lowest-rated towing component). Like our other OEM puck system 5th wheel products, the key feature of the 5th wheel puck system adapter is its quarter-turn anchors. With the hitch initially bolted onto the adapter, the adapter can easily be dropped into place whenever needed and secured with the quarter-turn anchors. The anchors can also be adjusted to help eliminate chucking noises between the adapter and under-bed platform while towing. The hitch does not require the exhaust or spare tire to be lowered. It requires no welding, temporary truck bed removal or even bed flange trimming. Best of all, pre-existing factory holes are used to mount the hitch to the trucks frame, meaning the only drilling necessary is for the gooseneck ball hole and safety chains in the truck bed. Once installed, the OEM-style gooseneck hitch for Chevrolet / GMC offers simple operation and highly secure towing. It is tested in accordance with SAE J2638 to safely tow up to 32,500 lbs. GTW. To make things even easier, this gooseneck hitch kit includes both the under-bed gooseneck hitch and the vehicle-specific installation brackets. The combined kit makes it simple to get your truck ready for towing by eliminating the need to purchase two different parts. It includes the #60611 gooseneck hitch and the #60624 installation brackets to fit certain years of the Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD (for a complete listing of compatibility, see the CURT application guide). Installation of the Double Lock EZr requires only one person, using retainer clips to keep bolts secure and the center section fully supported while mounting it into place. It also uses our patented center locator to eliminate meticulous measuring and ensure error-free drilling. The EZr also uses carriage bolts whenever possible for one-wrench tightening. The CURT A16 5th wheel hitch excels in easy operation and stable, quiet 5th wheel towing. It does this with two key features: a single-throw handle and a patented head design. The single-throw handle only needs to be pulled once when coupling and uncoupling. It is designed to self-reset to the ready-to-couple position after uncoupling, allowing for fewer steps while hooking up your trailer. The patented head of the A16 features a cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts as well as interlocking jaws to create stability for your truck and trailer. These components allow the A16 to suppress shock and vibrations and reduce any additional noise coming from your trailer. In addition to its single-throw handle and cast yoke head, this 16K 5th wheel hitch comes with a three-position coupling indicator. The indicator is visible from the cab of your pickup truck and eliminates the need to get in and out of the truck cab to check the connection while coupling or uncoupling. The A16 also has an extra wide head to make coupling even easier, one-pin head removal to make it simple to move the hitch, and a GTW rating of 16,000 lbs. to tow a variety of 5th wheel trailers. Like the other CURT A-series hitches, the A16 is coated with a durable carbide powder coat finish. This particular A16 hitch comes with a set of CURT OEM puck system 5th wheel legs, designed to be mounted on select Chevrolet or GMC long-bed pickups with the bed puck system (year range specific). Using a set of quarter-turn anchors, the legs quickly and easily drop into the pucks, instantly mounting the A16 hitch and equipping the truck for 5th wheel towing. The anchors feature an adjustable design to perfectly lock the hitch into place and eliminate any chucking noises, and the legs are finished in a durable carbide black powder coat to be highly resistant to scratches, rust and UV damage. These legs are intended to fit select Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks with the puck system and cannot be installed without it.
